Be Still

Be still  .




Psalm 46:10
10  “Be still, and know that I am God.
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth!”
Be still Although I think in its context this is about war God telling the Hebrews( Jews) to be still I got this. I think the thought can also apply  to us today in our own personnel battles  the phrase :be still , cease  striving , let be,stop your fighting,  means exactly what it say's   Know that I am God. As we battle with the going on's  around our life we can add to it by worrying or as the ESV uses being anxious. About our situation or those situations of others. God is in control instead of hindering God (if that is actually possible ) let him work his timing is not our timing, He's  got this. Be still and Know that I am God  he is above all nation ,above all the earth, and He is above all our needs.
Matthew 6: 27 And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life?  You can add a single moment to your life by being anxious ,Be still and know that I am God. Matthew 6:31 Therefore do not be anxious, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For lthe Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all. 33 But nseek first othe kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.  God knows the needs ,Be still and know that I am God. Be still and seek first the kingdom of God.  When life is starting to pile up on you take a moment and be still and know.
