When Life Seems To Fall Apart

Philippians 4:19English Standard Version (ESV)

19 And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

Struggles and bad events are just a part of life. They can’t be avoided. What we can do, however, is learn to respond to these struggles differently. Respond to them from a place of trust and not from a place where the circumstances control how we react.

God very clearly reminds us that we are not in control of life events . He would supply all of my needs but we want Him to supply them without anguish to us. We allow pride our desire to control and fix everything to stop us from seeing His provision.

God always provides

You see, God want’s to teach us that He would supply all of our needs. Not just some of them but all of them! And He would provide for us in a way that would break down anything that hinders our walk with Him.

He's concerned about our character during everyday events. Everyday, from His glorious riches he refines a little bit of our character to becoming more like Him. It isn't an easy lesson and it can be extremely painful, but we are much better off today because of it.

Matthew 6:31-33English Standard Version (ESV)

31 Therefore do not be anxious, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all. 33 But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. He will provide not just food ,drink and cloths ,but also peace ,comfort , and rest.

So the question needs to be asked ? What kind of relationship do you have with God,Jesus,and ,the Holy Spirit.?

Is it a daily walk or is it a crisis walk?

Do you call on him for everything or just when your in crisis?

Life events are going to happen to the good people as well as the bad,there is nothing we can do to prevent it from happening we live in a fallen world. Its how we respond to life’s events that’s truly of importance. Maybe ,just maybe these event are Gods way of getting your attention .Saying something like come to me? Remember he knocked Paul to the ground and blinded him for a time. Jesus asked Paul why was he kicking against his directions for his life.(loose translation) Is God trying to get your attention ? Is he trying to direct you ? Stop trying to do it your self ,you can't fix it. Be still and know that he is God, hear that still small voice.

28 Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Truly seek his rest.
