Sanctified by the Word

John 17-19

7 lSanctify them2 in the truth;  your word is truth. 18  As you sent me into the world, so I have sent them into the world. 19 And for their sake I consecrate myself,3 that they also may be sanctified4in truth.

 Sanctify Refers to God’s ongoing work to set His people apart for His purposes—to make them holy as He is holy

Are you as a Christian being sanctified DAILY ? This is an ongoing process. When you come to faith you are sanctified ,that is set apart for Gods purposes. Its a process  that is continual thru out the Christian life . As you are being turned into the image of our creator /God /Jesus .Col310 and have put on xthe new self, which is being renewed in knowledge after the image of its creator. 

Being renewed and sanctified go hand in hand .If your not being sanctified by the Word then your not being renewed by the Word, Renewed and sanctified are almost interchangeable.

Want it Well with your soul ,want relief from this worlds problems .As you grow being sanctified and renewed by the Word of truth then you will also grow in your ability to give it to God and let the Holy Spirit give you peace.

The problem may no go away ,your ability to deal with it in the peace of Christ will Grow.

Be renewed today and read the Word of God.
